2024 Northern Bass Circuit Rules.
All rules must be followed. Disciplinary action is to the discretion of the organizer.
- Blast off will commence at 7am, check in time 3pm, Late boats will receive a 2lb penalty for every min
- Blast of numbers based off previous event placing and will be posted on FB the day before the tournament
- Entry fees will be $150per boat for entering. $25 going to end of the year Championship. Big Fish pay out will be a flat $150 per event. Remaining Payout for top 3 boats up to 10 boats, top 5 payout for 11 boats or more, all entry fees must be sent by email money transfer to Shane.roberts@live.ca ( by 6pm Thur before )
- Anglers may participate solo no less then the min age of 16 & or as a team ( 2 anglers per boat ) unless stated otherwise* And may have a 3rd angler under the age of 12.
- All boats must provide proof of a min, $100,000.00 ( one Million Dollar ) liability insurance
- All boats must be a Min 14' & have an operating live well ( no coolers with aerators )
- All boats must have an operating kill switch that must be attached to a US coast guard flotation device (https://tc.canada.ca/en/marine-transportation/marine-safety/mandatory-safety-equipment ) that must be worn at all times when running faster than troll
- All anglers must have an up-to-date Ontario sport fishing license
- No pre-fishing after 5pm the night before an event
- Only Smallmouth & Largemouth bass may be kept on the boat & weigh in
- No live bait is permitted
- 5 bass per boat, Dead fish will incur a 1lb penalty
- No locking permitted
- All boats are required to have a live well check at launch,
- In the event of a tie the placings payout would be added together & divided equally
- All boats must use non-piercing call tags
- No fishing within casting reach of another boat, there will be zero tolerance for Un sportsman like conduct
- weigh in will be done as a dock drive by so there is less stress on the fish. (Livewell to scale)
- weather cancelation will result in a refund & date reschedule
- boater / teams must be registered & paid for Thursday 6pm before the tournament ( no refunds )
- Blast off numbers will be determined by placing of last event
- Boater must have fished min 3 tournaments to qualify for Championship & to win team, angler of the year
- Must be Min 5 boats to host the event. If less then, then entry fee will be refunded to registered teams
- Max 25 boats per event
- In the event where more then 25 boats qualify and enter for the championship day 1 will be an elimination day bringing the field down to 20 boats for day 2
